Our Story

Mauri Aura was founded by three whānau members who share a lifelong curiosity about wellbeing, personal growth, and the relationship between mind, body, spirit, and the natural world.

Growing up, we understood mauri as the life essence present within all living things. It remains an important part of how we understand our relationship with ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

As our own journey evolved, we became curious about frequency, biofields, and the different ways wellbeing has been explored across cultures and disciplines. Rather than replacing our cultural understanding, these ideas became another lens through which we explored life, nature, and relationship.

Mauri Aura grew from the meeting of these perspectives.

It is not presented as traditional Māori teaching, nor as established scientific fact. It is our own philosophy — shaped by culture, curiosity, experience, and respect for individual choice.

What We Create

Our collections are designed to become quiet companions in everyday life.

HoloLite® begins as a resin-based piece and is individually prepared through the Mauri Aura process. Once given its selected frequency imprints, the finished piece becomes a HoloLite®.

The Mātauranga Collection brings together authentic New Zealand pounamu, thoughtful craftsmanship, and individual preparation, reflecting our connection to nature, culture, and the Mauri Aura philosophy.

Our Signature Pieces continue this approach, combining natural materials, considered design, and careful preparation to create pieces intended to be worn, carried, or kept close throughout everyday life.

Our Philosophy

At Mauri Aura, we recognise that wellbeing is personal. It cannot be handed to someone else or defined in exactly the same way for everyone.

Our philosophy explores the relationships between intention, frequency, awareness, wairua, and the natural world. Some aspects draw from personal experience and tradition, while others are inspired by emerging ideas and concepts. We distinguish these perspectives from established scientific knowledge.

Our creations are prepared with care, intention, and aroha. They are not intended to direct your journey or force change, but to quietly accompany you and become part of your everyday environment.
