Our Story

Mauri Aura was founded by three whānau members who share a lifelong curiosity about wellbeing, personal growth, and the relationship between mind, body, spirit, and the natural world.

Growing up, we understood mauri as the life essence present within all living things. It remains an important part of how we understand wellbeing.

As our own journey evolved, we became curious about frequency, biofields, and the different ways wellbeing has been explored across cultures and disciplines. Rather than replacing our cultural understanding, these ideas became another lens through which we explored life, nature, and our relationship with the world around us.

Mauri Aura grew from the meeting of these perspectives.

It is not presented as traditional Māori teaching, nor as established scientific fact. It is our own philosophy—shaped by culture, curiosity, experience, and a deep respect for individual choice.

What We Create

Our collections are designed to become quiet companions in everyday life.

HoloLite® is a wearable wellbeing tool created within the Mauri Aura philosophy, with each piece individually prepared with an intentionally developed frequency profile.

The Mātauranga Collection brings together authentic New Zealand pounamu, thoughtful craftsmanship, and individual preparation, reflecting our connection to nature, culture, and the Mauri Aura philosophy.

Our Signature pieces continue this approach, combining natural materials, considered design, and careful preparation to create pieces intended to become part of everyday life.
